My dishes ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿณ

I focus on cooking a variety of cuisines from Japanese homecooking to french mother sauces. As much as I love traditional cooking, I am equally a firm believer of learning fundamentals then breaking them. In cooking, this manifests as dishes that seem to look nothing like their traditional counterparts, not out of disrespect, but out of love for fusion! Though I'm obsessed with the chemistry and physics, I'm actually most interested in the way machine learning algorithms can be trained to learn about food. Outside of fusion recipe tinkering, I also cook up salinty conversion algorithms for sauces and make tutorials for my siblings to learn how to cook Oyakodon. Webtoon Enthusiast ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ“–

Similar to cooking, I discovered Webtoons during the pandemic. As I devoured dozens of stories from romantasy slow burns to heart wrenching tragedies to stealthy action heists, I grew to love the medium for its completely unique literary qualities. I'm always open to gushing over my favorite stories and how they could be used in classrooms. Fueled by my interest, I'm currently working towards composing an Natural Language Processing (NLP) corpus to analyze them. You can click on the Webtoon card to see my review!

I similarly discovered Webtoons during the pandemic. As devoured dozens of stories from romantasy slow burns to heart wrenching tragedies to stealthy action heists, I've come to love the medium. I believe that the niche digital scroll culture has cultivated some profound stories and lessons that are unlike paperback comics or bigscreen film productions. Prodigy Minecraft

It all started as an attempt to teach my brother Minecraft. Our dual passion led me to comb through Spiget, the server hosting software, forums and the Minecraft source code as I analyzed knockback, friction, cumulative ping, and their implementions in Minecraft simulations. Through countless hours and individuals helping the cause, it eventually blossomed into a service that has now garnered 1.44MM interactions/uses with 33k members across dozens of countries. It boasts a >50% retention rate and subsidized ยข13/hour cost.

Mentorium ๐Ÿ‘พ๐ŸŽฎ

I, along with my friends, started Mentorium as a branch initiative in Prodigy to provide coaching in the game as much of the content was gatekept, not generally understood, or cost exorbitant amounts ($200 flat fees, $25/hr session fees, etc.). Using coaching techniques and distribution methods we managed to significantly reduce the costs and provide it largely free to meet the community demand

I found a breakthrough... [y]ou were right!
